Aditya
Aditya is a well known and respected group of institutions based out of Kakinada, Andhrapradesh. Established in 1984, Aditya Academy entered the noble field of education with a public school to cater to the prerequisite demands of primary and secondary education. As the journey progressed, Aditya Academy simply grew from strength to strength, thus spreading its wings to Junior Colleges, Degree Colleges, P.G. Colleges, Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges and Teacher Training Institutions. A gamut of 50 educational institutions in different streams, with a faculty of 5,000 members and surging student strength of 50,000 stands testimony to the pillaring effect Aditya Academy has had on the society in the past three decades. A small dream was transformed into a flamboyant reality indeed; this is the story of Aditya Educational Institutions.

For an educational institution as mighty as Aditya, some serious responsibility lies on the shoulders for we not just mould careers but lives of individuals. There are great instances and cases where students join at the KG level and leave us only at the PG level, so they technically spend two decades trusting and believing brand Aditya. I am proud to say that we at Aditya, have always realized this and have performed our duties with utmost care and interest.

The logo should portray the concept of evolution of a 3 year old toddler to a 22 year old professional in his stay over the years in Aditya. How this idea can be portrayed through a simple logo. Give your inputs and win the blackberry.

How to submit your concepts ?

Submit the concepts via the comment form given below. Dont forget to leave your email id, so that we can contact you later. You can login with your facebook or twitter accounts also. If you have any image to upload, use http://imgur.com/

How the winner will be selected ?

The submitted concepts will be reviewed by Deepak Reddy of Aditya Group and Arun Raveendran of BrandMango. Proper feedback will be given on good concepts. BrandMango designers will be designing logos based on the favorite concepts. Once Aditya Group approves the logo, the winner will be announced.

Conditions

  • Anyone can participate in this competition except Directors of Foradian Technologies.
  • You can submit more than one concept or design.
  • If more than one person submits same concept, advantage will be given to better description and clarity.
  • Other people may submit concepts motivated/inspired from yours. If you don't want this to happen, please don't participate. If you love your concept, set it free.
  • There will not be any consolation prizes.
  • The copyright of the selected concept will belong to Aditya Group.
  • Decision of Foradian will be final.
  • Last date of submission is 5th August 2011

Use namaste (hand salutation) as A in Aditya, star around G in Group and a lighted candle as I in Institutions. Write the whole Aditya Group of Institutions as a curve and place a book above the curve. So the logo has a book, salutation, star and lighted candle.

Arun, have a logo with the rising sun, a flower that blooms with the rising sun(whichever you find good) , and the flower spreads the fragrance of the flowers to the people around them, a hand on the shoulder or back of a student to show they are always there for them. in other words, studying at the Aditya Educations helps an individual gain knowledge through nature Sun (Aditya Group), Flower ( the faculty), a hand that guides students for the future and moulding them into responsible individuals. Sun also means spreading knowledge to the people and world around them.

The word 'Aditya' in itself means 'Sun' then why to support it with a sun rays background. The word itself can be worked around the rays concept.

Current logo is too complex, its not even readable on their site plus there are tons of elements in the logos which confuses me on what should I remember about it. An aum symbol, or a + symbol, a lotus or rays or should I remember the text?

That all needs to go IMHO and the logo needs to be very simple rays implemented along with the perfect font. We all remember Aditya Birla Logo. It has just one element in it THE SUN.

My logo would consist of a 3 year old baby crawling towards the sun (which stands for 'aditya') and a grown up guy coming out of the sun with a bulb over his head (to signify the knowledge he has acquired) during his stay at aditya group of institutions.

1)A is the first letter in alphabets. like In India the first letter is considered as the beginning of knowledge. AdityA has two A s and make use of it for relating it to the beginning of spreading knowledge or educating people.
2)Letter A can be realated to a Hero pens nib and also as a open book. 2 in one.
3) As foradian concept keep it Simple n can be connected to people easily.

Put a book inside the sun. This means "knowledge is power". Put two Olympic torch on both sides under the sun. Below this write Aditya Group Of Educational Institutions in curve and the same should rotate around the sun.

Concept 1::

Suns rays fall on an open book and from the open book rays come out. This symbol denotes "knowledge waves".

Concept 2::

A shield in which there are four portion. First one an open book. Second one a lotus flower. Third one a student in graduation dress (the gown and hat). Finally the fort one a runner with Olympic touch. This denotes with education and god's grace a student can graduate and run his life towards his goal.

Participation in this Event .

My Idealogies are :
1. As all Made a right Choice of using Sun ( Aditya )in Logo , i too
like to add Sun along with some rays which imparts Source light to all people living
in this world without any discrimination but acc. to this logo it will impart Education For all
without any discrimination .
2. Adding a Sapling in a palm image would too have a positive effect in final logo as though it will
impart that adtiya institute will take care of all it's students i,e. from little ones to post-graduate Pupil .

1) An Open book: 'Roots are in nature'.Green color represents nature.Book represents knowledge.
2) Three flames: 'Knowledge is fire'(A Sanskrit quote). It represents the evolution of a child to a professional.
3) Rising sun: Represents the supreme power.Also resemble the name of the Institution.

Explanation of the concept :
1-Adesh means Sun is used in the logo .
2-Book marked on the sun symbolizes that the Book is the source of education ( like
sun is the source of light )Imparts education to all .

The word "Aditya" has been bolded to enchanting and enlightenment, further as well as progress of individual - who trust and stay over a decade and self-realization of knowledge is heraldic theme of my proposal.

We can't see things without light, "Light act as a explanation, just like knowledge act as an explanation for any ignorance". In simple way, have an igniting Olmpic torch with three source of flame of different heights (represents individual progress through each stage, 3 Yr - PG Graduate), and a base (represents Aditya Group molding an individual for a successful livelihood).

The establishments in the year "1984" represents experience and trust offered by the institution. It simply portray an "Blossomed Lotus". As we all know blossomed lotus symbolize knowledge and learning, purity and illumination. Hence, portraying Institution as Bloomed Lotus and Students who trust and stay protray as sitting inside, that depicts professionalism and also clearly gets its commitment to quality education at first sight.

I think.the logo should be based on the concept of the college.
The logo should be something like a lady or a man holding
Book ( knowledge) in one hand and the sun (Adiya) in other hand
