Aditya is a well known and respected group of institutions based out of Kakinada, Andhrapradesh. Established in 1984, Aditya Academy entered the noble field of education with a public school to cater to the prerequisite demands of primary and secondary education. As the journey progressed, Aditya Academy simply grew from strength to strength, thus spreading its wings to Junior Colleges, Degree Colleges, P.G. Colleges, Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges and Teacher Training Institutions. A gamut of 50 educational institutions in different streams, with a faculty of 5,000 members and surging student strength of 50,000 stands testimony to the pillaring effect Aditya Academy has had on the society in the past three decades. A small dream was transformed into a flamboyant reality indeed; this is the story of Aditya Educational Institutions.

For an educational institution as mighty as Aditya, some serious responsibility lies on the shoulders for we not just mould careers but lives of individuals. There are great instances and cases where students join at the KG level and leave us only at the PG level, so they technically spend two decades trusting and believing brand Aditya. I am proud to say that we at Aditya, have always realized this and have performed our duties with utmost care and interest.

The logo should portray the concept of evolution of a 3 year old toddler to a 22 year old professional in his stay over the years in Aditya. How this idea can be portrayed through a simple logo. Give your inputs and win the blackberry.

How the winner will be selected ?

The submitted concepts will be reviewed by Deepak Reddy of Aditya Group and Arun Raveendran of BrandMango. Proper feedback will be given on good concepts. BrandMango designers will be designing logos based on the favorite concepts. Once Aditya Group approves the logo, the winner will be announced.

  • Anyone can participate in this competition except Directors of Foradian Technologies.
  • You can submit more than one concept or design.
  • If more than one person submits same concept, advantage will be given to better description and clarity.
  • Other people may submit concepts motivated/inspired from yours. If you don't want this to happen, please don't participate. If you love your concept, set it free.
  • There will not be any consolation prizes.
  • The copyright of the selected concept will belong to Aditya Group.
  • Decision of Foradian will be final.

Four Secrets you don't know about Foradian Logo

The foradian startup team was motivated by movies like Matrix Trilogy and 2001: A Space Odyssey which intelligently incorporated numerous references to philosohpical and religious ideas. So when the time came to decide about the logo of foradian, the team decided it to be as simple as possible and rich with inner meanings.

Before explaining about the logo, those who don't know what the word "Foradian" means, here is the explanation. The name foradian is motivated from scientific unit of angular measurement "radian". Radian measures angles in two dimensional planes and Steradian measures angles in three dimensional space. A new word "FORADIAN" was coined to describe the experience on the next dimension. We chose our startup tagline as "Business in Next Dimension" meaning helping the offline business to shift to online through our internet engineering services. The team chose orange-red as the official color theme. It portrays the aggressiveness as well as the hacker attitude towards life and society. Orange-red is a bright vibrant color which symbolizes physical energy.

Foradian logo is simply an angle created by two straight lines with a common starting point and the shadow the angle on the surface beneath it. In the direct sense it portrays the concept of angle of the term "radian" and the number "4" created by the logo and its shadow. If you haven't noticed the number 4 in the logo, look carefully. It was not meant to be a secret. :)

Now to the actual secrets.

Secret 1: 36 degrees of the angle.

The angle created by the foradian logo is exactly 36 degrees or if we put it in correct units, it is π/5 radians. The number and the angle 36 has got many significance which you can read from here.

Secret 2: Golden ratio

The edges of the foradian logo triangle keeps golden ratio. The ratio of the longer side to the shorter side is always φ which is approximately 1.6180339887. Watch the following video to understand the importance of golden ratio in designs and nature.

Secret 3: 11:11 phenomenon

Just before starting foradian, when the cofounders were at different places all of them started noticing the 11:11 phenomenon, which might be pure coincidence. But we loved the concept and it became one of our motivation to make the logo.

Secret 4: Hand of Pentagram

Foradian logo is actually the hand of a pentagram. The prominent part of the logo is from the inverted pentagram and the shadow from the normal pentagram. Pentagram has got a prominent role in most of the religious and philosophical views of the world.
