RuPi Foradian - Download and start using 26 different glyphs for Indian Rupee Symbol

Are you tired of using the same Rupee Symbol style in all your print documents. Here is a cool new "pi font" from us, which has got 26 different glyph styles for the new Indian Rupee Symbol.

Download the above font and install it in your PC. Will work with Windows, Linux and Mac. After installation, select the font and use Capital letters A to Z to get 26 different glyph styles for Indian Rupee Symbol. If you have any doubt or suggestions, post as a comment.

What is a Pi Font ?

Fonts that have symbols and shapes in place of alphabetic characters. These fonts are also known as Dingbats. Click here to read the wikipedia article. These kind of fonts are popular due to the ease of input.

WARNING: This font should not be used in web pages or documents which are saved digitally for future needs. Use the font for PRINT and CREATIVE DESIGN works.

Its a very iconic emblem. But I personally feel that before finalizing on the emblem, the Indian Govt. should have at least posted the options they decided from, to get the views of the Indian Tax Payer, for whom they work & who pays them to think. !!!! JAAGO INDIANS JAAGO !!!!!

@Rajeev R S: The issue might be that they have not installed the Rupee Foradian font and the word processor (MS WORD, Wordpad, etc.) has replaced them with existing fonts. For them to view the symbol, they need to have the font installed in their computer as well. :)

Your work is truly amazing but I'm unable to use the font with PageMaker, probably because its Unicode and PageMaker has some problem with Unicode.

I downloaded on my mac running 10.6.4, I have only the symbol as code $0060 (the original grave accent) . The uppercase diplay the standard uppercase letters.

Since last so many day's I was trying to create this symbol on my PC. I made it in Autocad but it was difficult to use. I Personally thanks to Faradin for this great work.

I am facing a problem!
I used the Foradian Rupee Symbol in Word, copied it to a website. Now what I could see on the website is a lot of rupee symbols with other stuff of the site. What is this? Is this problem only on my P.C. or has something affected the site also???????????? Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I used rupi foradian.ttf for converting html to pd4ml for generate .pdf file. But its not working. I used Unicode which I found from MS word bcoz its work in MS word..
